有谁知道杭州科技开发区的联系方式或联系人?
我知道杭州正在重点建设软件服务外包,我也有这方面的项目。有没有浙江侨办的在这group里能帮我牵线搭桥的?或那位同学已知道联系方式的?
谢谢

Are you going to Nanjing after the Suzhou's event 7/13? May be we can
visit Hanzhou on 7/13 and then go to Nanjing on 7/15. Please let me
know when we meet in Suzhou.
Regard,
Clive
2009/7/8 Frank Hao <usita...@hotmail.com>:
I put a few of topics in this email. For easier reading, I am using bullet points to separate each topic.
A Nation-wide Organization
First of all, my SINCERE thankfulness to司主任 & the organizers of this event. With this group discussion set up, we don’t feel left alone after visiting. After all to most people final decisions need lots of info/helps than the 3-day classes/trips.
Initially I thought most people in this group will be ended up at those three cities. But based on the discussion, it seems we have much more wide city varieties. Thus I believe there is a need to expand this group to the nation and to benefit all 回国创业的留学同胞, not just to our class and to those who will settle in Shanghai, Zhenjiang, and Huzhou.
司主任,
Can you suggest this to related governmental departments such as 侨办 (well, Shanghai侨办 could be a leader or set up a leading example). After all, 回国创业 will benefit China as a whole and China’s strength will be in return benefit all cities in China.
And to those who are members or connected to overseas students organizations,
When you get a chance, would you please suggest them set up/connect this group to their organization? I do believe there are lots of people who already set up their operations in China could contribute to the discussion and also lots of people who are considering start their businesses in China would need helps.
I totally understand this nation-wide organization would take some time and many efforts and I may not personally get any benefit. But it, if deemed as necessary, needs to start somewhere.
杭州科技开发区
I thought there were not any people in this group interested in Hangzhou since it was not part of the program. I am glad to know there are and please feel free to contact me should I can be any of help. Attached is a file listed all HZ 科技开发区. The one, based on my investigation, I would recommend you to visit is杭州高新区留学人员创业园.
I personally rank SH or cities in Jiangshu does a better job than HZ in providing service & support to 回国创业的留学同胞. I came to HZ as it was said to build “China’s ecommerce capital”. However the related policies/incentives are still far in place. I also went to a similar event as our classes run by Zhejiang government while in NYC. You heard all warm welcome but when you get here and face real questions, you are experiencing the real environment that you will do business in. And that’s why I rank so highly of司主任’s following up on our group.
However I encourage you to visit Hangzhou to make your final decisions. After all it’s not easy to move your business locations, especially when you have many employees. I am in the process to speak with some government people/departments in HZ directly mid-late of July as I am doing lots of homework. If you’re planning to visit Hangzhou, it won’t be a bad idea if we form a group (small or big, better than an individual) to meet those governments. Shoot me an email at ange...@gmail.com
My Personal Entrepreneurial Experiences in China and US
I agree with Frank Hao & 周文豪 that US is a much easier place to start a business than China.
1. Doing business in China have many more unreasonable and unnecessary hassles (from government) than that in US. I ran a mid-sized private-owned factory back from 1995-2000 in China and experienced all kinds of unreasonable regulations and obstacles from government. I had to spend a great deal of energy and time to deal with those unnecessary but have-to issues. I set up two companies in New York (one in 2003 and one in 2005) and spent minimum time to deal with bank, tax, fnce dept, and etc. And that enabled me to spend all my time and energies in promoting my business.
2. US encourages and thinks highly of entrepreneurship and the government provides actual helps to SME (I used to work for SBA (Small Business Administration)). China has none or minimum support and experience in helping SME. I believe the government has seen this and is working on this to improve it.
However don’t get me wrong that I don’t have faith in China. Instead we are all proud of China’s development and believe in its promising future. We raised these issues simply as suggestion and wish China get better and improve faster.
Cheers,
Angela Hu
