When was the meeting with Ellen scheduled for?

We are supposed to have a board meeting prior to it and vote on the list of events for next semester ... Did I miss something?

Dear ZGAS Board Members,

 

It's been my pleasure to work with everyone of you, and I appreciate your enthusiasm for completely "owing" the events hosted by ZGAS by taking on the roles that weren't necessarily assigned to you!

 

I'm confident that everyone who has decided to step up and take a greater leadership role deserves it 100%! That is one of the reasons why I have decided to give up my VP of Events position so that there is an additional opportunity for you to shine for yourself and in front of other Board members and company representatives and recruiters attending future events. There are a number of great Spring-semester events which I would be happy to assist with, so please feel free to reach out to me with any questions about prior events and/or with any future volunteering opportunities/needs.

 

For those of you who are interested in running for the VP of Events position, you might also want to consider attending tomorrow's meeting with Ellen King to get a better idea of the Spring semester events and to contribute your ideas.

Corina,

The meeting with Ellen took place today in the morning and Ellen just asked us to come with the ideas that we're considering, not the final list of events. The meeting was aimed at avoiding repetitive events and schedule conflicts. We will discuss all the ideas at the next board meeting and will come up with the final events schedule. 

Everyone will get a chance to vote on the list of events.

In order for ZGAS to start planning for the spring semester, I think it's important that we have elections next week.  My suggestion is Tuesday, December 10 at 12:30pm.   If you want to run for a position but can't make the meeting, then email the group so we can vote for all eligible candidates.

If this is ok with everyone, can someone reserve a room for the elections?
