I hope everything is well with you. I wanted to remind you of social fundraising opportunities at local restaurants who are excited to host and give back to organizations like Zicklin Graduate Accounting Society.
In the months of October and November, you can host a fundraising meal at Café Espanol, The Red Lion, or Amity Hall near Baruch, and the restaurant will donate back 20% of your group's meal sales!
Here's how it works:
1) Request a date for your meal online here:
http://groupraise.com/new-york-ny2) Invite everyone to your meal using social media, email, and your GroupRaise meal page
3) Have a fun, social meal together & place your receipts in the GroupRaise box
Then the restaurant will tally up the receipts in the box and you will get a check in the mail for what your group raised (get it?)! So far, student clubs have raised from $40 to $400+ per event! Here is a short video about how to set up the event:
