I am completely new to zfs. I made a stupid mistake. I created a
pool by using the commands: "diskutil partitiondisk /dev/disk1
GPTFormat ZFS %noformat% 100%" and "zpool create puddle /dev/disk1s2"
on a disk that I want to copy data from! It is a disk in hfs format
and I am on 10.7 Lion. Is there a way to recover the data on that
disk (after created the pool, I did not write anything on it)? Thanks
in advance.

By the way, when I was testing on some other drives, when I copy data
from a hfs partition to a zfs pool, the copying speed was very low.
What could be the problem?
