No, this is the "old" zetnet, that was left behind, floating in cyberspace
when the firewall went up!
It can only be accessed from an account other than zetnet!

Not quite true Anne,it can be accessed by using a public news server
using a zet account but then there aren't that many .localers who
could do so.

I don't know if the firewall's been lifted but I can tell you I've just
subscribed to .local using AOL. I have changed my Zet account to a POP 3 so I
can access it from the US, but haven't managed to figure out how Outlook
Express does newsgroups, so I'm using AOL. : )
How is everyone? Seems I've been gone forever already... I miss England.
We arrived in Denver on April 6th, took us about 10 days to find an apartment
but I live in the foothills just at the foot of the Rockies, about 4 miles from
the Columbine High School. Thank G-d my son doesn't go there - we chose
another high school for him and he started school the day before the shootings
happened. The mood around here is awfully sad... : (((((
Anyway, I'll be back across the pond for a 14 day backpacking trip in Ireland
in September - can't wait. Anyone who wants my email address on AOL (it's
changed) just ask - I'll be glad to hand it out personally. :)

Meant to say I found the list of NGs under "Tools" or you can use the little
"newspaper" icon under that!
