The Organics Grant Program is a competitive grant program that funds projects that will lower overall greenhouse gas emissions by expanding existing capacity or establishing new facilities in California to reduce the amount of California-generated green materials, food materials, and/or Alternative Daily Cover being sent to landfills.

The Request for Approval of the Eligibility, Scoring Criteria, and Evaluation Process for the Organics Grant Program, Cycle 7 and Scoring Criteria are now available on the Public Notice webpage (https://www2.calrecycle.ca.gov/PublicNotices/Details/4913).  The public comment period is open and will end on December 15, 2022.  Please submit written comments to ghgred...@calrecycle.ca.gov.

The Request for Approval will be presented at CalRecycle’s Monthly Public Meeting on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 10:00 am.  The Public Meeting webcast is available at https://calrecycle.ca.gov/broadcast/.
