Subject: [gaia-uscanada] Landfill Regulations at CARB (Sign-on Request)

Hey folks!

Several of us have been working for years to get CARB to adopt more protective methane regulations for landfills.

 

Those regulations are now out for public comment and will be going to the Board on November 20^th. While we think the regulations could certainly be stronger, we do strongly support all the changes they are proposing. This will likely be the most controversial thing CARB does this year, as well as Lauren Sanchez’s first meeting as Chair.

 

We could use your help to get these regulations adopted despite strong pushback from industry.

 

1. Please signing-on to our coalition letter by COB on Monday, November 10^th (even if you haven’t worked on this issue in the past).
2. If you are in Sacramento, please consider attending the hearing.
3. Forward this to other orgs!
