Membership Scholarships

CRRA has established a Scholarship Fund to provide support for membership costs in one of California’s oldest and most influential non-profit recycling organizations. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide opportunity for those individuals who may not otherwise be a part of the organization. Discounted memberships will be granted to individuals in the Zero Waste industry. Please apply by clicking HERE. Applications are being accepted now through March 3rd, 2025.

ZWPP Certification Course
May 12-16, 2025

This course provides students with a comprehensive knowledge of rapidly emerging public and private sector Zero Waste programs and the key principles that support these programs. The course also provides tools to help draw together aspects of existing programs and new efforts into community-specific Zero Waste Programs.

Presented by Solana Center for Environmental Innovation in partnership with CRRA and SWANA. Designed for anyone impacted by SB 1383 Edible Food Recovery, including government employees, business managers, food recovery organizations, government contractors, future food rescue inspectors, and interested citizens.

Get in-depth information about how to comply with California’s regulations, which require organic waste recycling and surplus food recovery.
