• Recycling Specialist I (Closing on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 11:59 p.m.)

Salary: $57,865.60 - $71,136.00 Annually ǀ Job Type: Regular-Full Time

Employees in this job class are scheduled to receive future Across-the-Board increases and Equity Increases:

** July 2023 - 3.90% increase to base pay (2.75% Across-the-Board + 1.15% Equity Inc.)

** July 2024 - 3.90% increase to base pay (2.75% Across-the-Board + 1.15% Equity Inc.)

 

Employees in the Recycling Specialist I job class perform professional analytical and administrative work related to recycling and source reduction aspects of the San Diego County Solid Waste Ordinance, and recycling and source reduction policies and programs that enable, facilitate and encourage the reduction of solid waste materials going to landfill, and promote the use of recycled/recyclable materials and products. Under general supervision, employees in this job class assist Recycling Specialist II's and Program Coordinators in administrating the County's recycling program.

 

• Recycling Specialist II (Closing on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 11:59 p.m.)

Salary: $67,953.60 - $83,532.80 Annually ǀ Job Type: Regular-Full Time

Employees in this job class perform professional analytical and administrative work related to source reduction and recycling aspects of the San Diego County Solid Waste Ordinance, and associated policies and programs that enable, facilitate and encourage the reduction of solid waste materials sent to landfill and promote the use of recycled/recyclable materials and products.
