We focus on solutions rather than problems, and on connections rather than differences. WHEN: Thursday, May 19, 6 - 8 pm WHERE: Amplified Ale Works Kitchen + Beer Garden - Pacific Beach, 4150 Mission Blvd., San Diego, CA TRANSIT and PARKING: We encourage you to use public transit or ride share if available. A paid parking lot is available underneath the shopping center (2 hours free with validation) and street parking options are available. FOOD and DRINK: A variety of drinks and meals/appetizers are available for purchase. Click here to view their dinner menu. SPEAKER: Ellen Spooner is a marine biologist and science storyteller. She works for Leading Solutions in Support of NOAA and is the host of the Ocean Optimism podcast. She studied Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Arizona and received her Masters in Fisheries at the University of Michigan. In 2016, she got the prestigious Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship and has worked in Government Ocean Science and Communication ever since.
