Planning an Onsite Small-Scale Decentralized Composting Facility: Fundamentals for Getting It Right
A COOLNow free Webinar
| | |
Whether you're managing a university campus, a food bank, or a tribal community organization, the idea of handling your organic waste onsite can feel equal parts appealing and overwhelming. Betsy La Force, Sales & Business Development Manager at Green Mountain Technologies, will walk you through the practical fundamentals of planning, creating, and operating a small-scale decentralized composting facility. Her presentation focuses on what actually works for your site, your staff, and your community. Betsy will cover core planning principles and bring them to life through a series of real-world case studies drawn from institutions like Rutgers, Colorado State, and Lafayette, as well as community-rooted operations including the Miami Nation, the Food Bank of Dayton, and a thriving program in Traverse City, Michigan. If you've been wondering whether onsite composting is within reach for your organization, this is the session that will help you find out.

The presentation will be offered twice:
