I tried to read through the licensing document and go through FAQ, but obviously fear about licenses is the biggest problem.
Hence I wanted to get it from the horses mouth, before we go full forward and embrace ZeroMQ as our messaging layer.
Essentially want to know that we are OK using ZeroMQ.

1. We are a commercial product.
2. We will write brokers based off ZeroMQ or use one of the existing patterns.
3. we will have an SDK which will use the language bindings of ZeroMQ ( Python, Java, C, C++)
4. We do NOT plan to change ZeroMQ source in any way.
5. We will obviously include zeroMQ headers and link to ZeroMQ library.
6. Our commercial python code will import pyzmq.

Given this situation ( its probably very standard for commercial ZeroMQ based products), I don't see a problem using ZeroMQ,
and does not make our commercial software having to also adhere to LGPLV3. This is because of the static linking exceptions
built in and extended by ZeroMQ.

Is my understanding correct?

best.
thanks.

Were these questions ever addressed?  Are there any larger commercial companies that have used ZeroMQ to easy the frenzy of our lawyers when they smell anything LGPL?

Cheers,
Mattias
