Educational & Community Opportunities in September

Here are some community and educational opportunities this month:

I am offering Composting & Worm Composting at Home and Landscaping With Fruit at Hudson Valley Community College this fall session.

Join me this Saturday from 10am-12pm at the Refugee Welcome Center for a volunteer garden party. Learn about the work being done to revitalize, improve, and build upon community gardens in the West Hill neighborhood of Albany.

Home Earth Alliance is offering a unique and interesting opportunity that looks most excellent, it is entitled Garden Bees: A Five Week Experiential Ecolandscaping Course with Kate Brittenham, Native Landscape Designer & Author

As always, anyone is welcome to the Earth Repair Meetup at Honest Weight on the 3rd Monday of each month at 6:30pm.

Also, I grow thousands of plants each year for myself, clients, and community partners, and 2026 will be our first season offering a CSA-style preorder for home gardeners. This new model will help us grow and stay more engaged with our local community, and provide funding for our most critical projects. Learn More Here!
