to zero-point
hello dear friend,
hope this finds you stellar.

~

zero-point flash:

everything zero-point has moved officially.

we will be curating elsewhere (most recently at echo curio) and i've
started a mail art project which you can be involved in if you would
like: just email me your mailing address (post office) and you'll
receive.

~

one of the collaborations i'm delighting in lately is with maxi kim,
who recently hosted a zizek reading group at zero-point. he has
invited me to join in presenting his work this weekend:
at the smell this sunday aug. 31st. 6pm

reading / performing selections of one break a thousand blows : maxi
kim's recent novel - michelle lee, gina clark, beth mcnamara, laura
vena, danielle adair, christie scott, daiana feurer and gerard olson

i am currently working on a couple different books documenting zero-
point. if you have footage / images / thoughts / responses /
reactions / critical theory / essays / poetic memory etc. that you
would like to contribute as documentation you can email text / pix or
links to them.

you may have noticed that our site : zeropointspace.org is down. to
work on these endeavors has been exceedingly difficult because of
this. i'm sorry this has happened, but it is the on-going action of
our ex-roommate who i do not fully understand. dealing with this issue
has drained so much of my energy, it is such a waste to make it
complicated when to help would be so simple...however - i will
determine the best way to redo the site and get it online, that is not
my urgent priority right now, though it hurts me to know it is in
limbo - soon it will return.
~

also, if you have been to art school or studied art in a class
environment, or are an artist and haven't gone through formal training
but have developed interesting ways to connect with other artists and
make / present your work - regardless of your experience - i would be
interested in receiving email ideas about how to form a new art school
model.

if you've had ideas about what you really wanted out of life as an
artist, what has helped you, what you wish you had more help with, or
(at an educational institution for example) --- how did your education
develop, what sort of environment would you ideally be in?

i am interested in collective ideas to form such an experiment. right
now it is in exploration and development mode with many other minds,
so this is a collaborative project itself as well.

~

thanx to all the people who helped move / get things together /
feedbacked with conversation and just supported this transition in
general. without you nothing!

so send your address for mail art,
send your ideas for a new art school experience,
send your love.

love & ruckus.
