Sunday, October 5, 2008 10am-8pm MOMENTUM An outdoor art installation
that assembles contemporary visual art, music performance, theatre,
performance art, and video, into a greater conceptual performance in
the East Village Arts District of downtown Long Beach. This project is
a demonstration in response to the lack of exhibition space in an area
labeled as an "artist's village." Dung Mummy's Nomadic Transmissions
will host several experimental music artists throughout the day. The
performances will be based out of a moving truck near the corner of
Linden & Broadway in the arts district.


really excited about this sunday's inaugural Nomadic Transmissions.
this will represent the beginning of Dung Mummy public events.
beginning in 2009 they plan to have a host of events in different
locals from the oceans, to the mountain, to the desert and in between
at various parks and public spots in the southern california area. If
you know of such spots please feel free to share thoughts.
