Hi everyone,
COY12 will be funding about 10-15 participants from YOUNGO to support with drafting the COY Policy Paper or speak in workshops. The Bottomlining Team (BLT) is coordinating who we will be proposing for this funded participation. We’ve only just received information about this, which is why this is on such short notice.
We’re looking specifically for folks who are familiar with YOUNGO to either (1) support writing the COY Policy Paper or (2) speak at COY workshops. Ideally, the candidate could do both. We also have specific positions on the COY Policy Paper team (further details here).

If you’re applying as a speaker for a workshop, we’ve attached a draft programming for the COY (in french only). DO NOT CIRCULATE THIS DRAFT. We also encourage you to apply if you’ve submitted your own activity to COY, especially if it’s a topic of direct relevance to YOUNGO/UNFCCC (e.g. the Paris Agreement, climate finance, facilitation).
Funding will cover the flights to and from Marrakech as well as accommodation during COY. Food will be provided for the duration of COY. No per diem will be issued. Funded participants will be expected to support further YOUNGO activities and work.
*It is possible but currently uncertain that accommodation MAY be covered for the duration of COP. We are NOT certain at the moment if reimbursements are possible for people who already booked their flights. For now, if you did already book your flight, you can still apply but make sure to let us know at the appropriate question in the form.

Age limit: 30, up to 35 for active YOUNGO members.
