Hi all,

I have been thinking about this issue ever since I found out about the "One Degree War Plan" (http://paulgilding.com/fileshare/p091101-The-one-degree-war-plan.pdf).

Here is a very laudable effort in this direction by the Tyndall Centre, relevant for the whole list:

The Radical Emission Reduction Conference
This conference will bring together academics and practitioners, engineers and economists, policy-makers and civil society to detail evidenced-based opportunities for delivering urgent and deep reductions in emissions of greenhouse gases.

10th - 11th December 2013, Royal Society, 6-9 Carlton House Terrace London SW1Y 5AG.

I have been told by an organizer that they will try to stream the whole conference, so please tune in! I am sure there will be many things that we can pick up and push forward!

Hi KJ.

How funny that i should have an email from you the very day that i re-enter the world of sustainability and campaigning. Thanks for the conference info, i'll keep an eye on that.

I've just started at falmouth university as sustainability coordinator for the students union. My first day involved a meeting about a couple who have a yacht that they want to repurpose and sail around the world with an environmental message. Sound familiar? I cant remember any of the details of that boat with the lingo banner on it. Do you have a url or contacts so they can network and share experiences? Thanks
