Hi Everyone,

Zuloo Productions are performing a play reading, complete with sound
effects. This promises to be an exciting concept for your
entertainment. The play is called ‘The Exonerated’ and will be
performed on Friday 21st August at 8pm at Priscilla Restaurant. The
restaurant is open from 6pm so feel free to come earlier and enjoy a
meal and drink beforehand. Meals are reasonably priced and good
value, I’ve eaten there several times before rehearsal!

Synopsis:

"The Exonerated tells the stories of six innocent survivors of death
row. Each of these people had been sentenced to death, spent anywhere
from 2 to 22 years in prison before finally being found innocent and
freed by the state. The interviews from these people form the core of
the play. There are also excerpts from affidavits, police
interrogations and court transcripts. This play attempts to relate as
fully as possible what it is like to be wrongly accused and convicted
and what it is like to be on death row. The Exonerated is not
primarily about anger and revenge, it is about strength, hope,
redemption and forgiveness, as these men and women emerge from
incarceration to reclaim what is left of their lives".

Cost of tickets is only 50 RMB (pay at the door).

Bookings are essential so send your reservations to
Zu...@tickets.co.uk You can also ring Jessica Cheng if you have an
