There are still many acting roles available in Everything is Possible.
Why?

Let me explain...

Recently I asked the financial Z-BF members to give me dates of when
they were free to help as crew members for Everything is Possible.

Well, no-one sent me any dates!

So I thought, if they won't help as crew for the other actors, how can
they expect the others to offer to be crew when it's their turn to
act? (isn't that just logical?).

Please understand what we're trying to achieve through Zero-Budget
Films.

1) Long-Term Goal: to make good quality feature-length films and
musicals. However, because we're just starting out without a proven
database of reliable cast and crew, this cannot be achieved in the
short-term.

2) Short-Term Goal: to make feature-length films and musicals without
funding. This is the key to the long-term success of this group which
will then be able to undertake projects from many people, giving all
the members a chance to be in a film, either as cast or crew member.
IT IS CRITICAL THAT WE ACHIEVE THIS WITH OUR FIRST FILM PROJECT.

Z-BF is not about making just one film. It's about creating a system
that will allow us to make whatever films we want (your films
included), whenever we want, and without having to go begging to
investors for funding.

It's obvious that we can't make films without a crew, so we'll just
keep re-inventing this Zero-Budget Films system until we find
something that works.

The basic steps, however, will remain the same:

Step 1: Come to a Games Night to meet other Z-BF members and give a
little financial support (it's only 50rmb) - if you can't make it on a
Wednesday night, then you can make a 50rmb donation at any time.
Step 2: Take on a crew role for at least one day.
Step 3: Act in your scene

Apart from giving you a memorable experience and helping you improve
your skills as an actor or film-maker, your rewards for this
commitment are:

1) Free DVD of the film
2) Credit for your roles on the DVD
3) Recognition for your involvement (text and/or photos) on the Zero-

So here's what we'll have to do get this film finished by the end of
August:

If you've been a crew member for at least a day, then I'll find a crew
for your scene. You don't have to do anything else until your shooting
day.

But if you haven't been a crew member, then you'll have to find a crew
(all financial supporters of Zero-Budget Films ... maybe ask your
friends!) before your scene is due to be shot (and this date is
different for everyone). Otherwise, I'll have to recast your role and
give it to a financial Z-BF member who has been a crew member, or is
able to supply his own crew.

This is a necessary requirement because we have a tight schedule, and
we can't wait forever to shoot your scene. It would just be simpler if
you could help as a crew member and fulfill Step 2 of the Z-BF Actor
Requirement System.

This week I need a crew for: Tue, Aug 4; Thu, Aug 6; Fri, Aug 7; Sat,
Aug 8.

If you can make yourself available for one of these days then I'll
take care of providing a crew for the day when your scene is due to be
shot. If you can't be available for a whole day, then maybe you can
come in for 2 half days, or evenings.

So, if you're not a financial member of Z-BF yet, then please come to
the Games Night fund-raising event on Wednesday [details below] and
make yourself available for at least one day as a crew member. Then
I'll give you an acting role ... guaranteed! Your support will help
Zero-Budget Films succeed in it's quest to help film-makers make films
without funding.

This is ground-breaking stuff!
This is historic!
