Hello all,

I'm trying to set up a Zeppelin instance that will connect to an Elasticsearch cluster. I've found this and this for connecting but I can't work our how to use the plugins?

Does anyone know how to use these? Or should I be going about this another way?

Thanks in advance,
Ryan

Hi Ryan,

welcome to the list and thank you for a great questions!

Although this is not very clear from the description right now, but those are legacy implementations, you will be much better off using https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch-hadoop#apache-spark directly at your notebooks.
That's what we do at NFLabs now.

That said it is totally possible to implement a separate ES interpreter too.

What is the use case you have in mind? Do you use Spark? Are you interested in full ES query syntax?
