On Sunday, October 23, 2016 Mr. Khurram (VRCC) while playing a cricket match against ICC team (Irving Cricket Club) , collapsed on the field. He was revived by a couple of doctors playing in the team with him. Ambulance immediately took him to the hospital where he didn’t survive a heart attack. He was gone in the matter of minutes – an utter shock to everyone. May he rest in peace – Aamin!!!
Due to short notice, Valley Ranch Cricket Club (VRCC). decided to do a mini tournament limited to six teams. so far 5 teams have registered. We would request DCL teams or any one who plays Cricket in the DFW area to please register a team and participate in this tournament.Trophy: Khurram Rajput Memorial [Tape Ball Cricket Tournament]
Registration Fees: $300/team [all proceeds will go to some sort of charity. ]
Venue: Allen Cricket Ground Address: 601 Alma Dr, Allen TX
Format: 8 overs
Players Per Team: 11
Dates: 24th November 2016 and 26th November 2016
Thursday November 24th 2016 8:00 am - 5:00 pm,
Semi-Finals and Finals on November 26th 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
Winner Teams gets the Khurram Rajput Memorial Trophy
