Gentlemen,

This year we are starting with Chauka as the official scorer for Dallas Cricket League. We have been working with them roughly for the past one and half year and liked the tools and their quick response to our requests.

These are some of the benefits we get by using Chauka:

1. Chauka App is available on both Android as well as IOS Version
2. Anyone can follow matches live with ball by ball commentary
3. We get full detailed final scorecards with graphs and commentary similar to Cricinfo
4. Players get professional cricket profiles with stats and performance analysis
5. Leagues standings and player rankings are automatically updated as soon as the match is scored.
6. Every Player is given a unique player id. (This player id would be required by the player if he intends to change the teams after the end of the tournament).
7. With a unique player id you can play anywhere in the world where they are using the Chauka App and have a life time Statistics.
   

• DCL has added all your players properly to your Squad in Chauka from the excel spread sheet each team provided. This has been done for all the teams playing in the 2015 spring tournament.
• Captain/Vice Captains need to maintain the excel spreadsheet and update information of all the new players and existing players.
• Collect all details for any NEW player you add to your team during the tournament (Need, First Name, Last Name, Complete Address, Email, Phone)
• Submit the final excel spread sheet at the end of the tournament (By 4/26/2015)  to dcl...@gmail.com
• Complete 2015 Spring Schedule has been uploaded on Chauka as well as DCL/DLCL websites

Login credentials will be provided on the Chauka App by DCL/DLCL Organizers to the Captains / Vice Captains and Each Players of the team

Scorer from one cell phone can logout and another scorer can continue to score in a new phone. This should be done during the breaks or innings break. We would prefer one scorer to finish scoring the 20 overs innings. So please make sure you Charge your phone fully.

Since the teams will be using this app for the first time, we will not be replacing the manual scoring that is done today, the written score sheet will only be the one that is acceptable and Final. !!! So please continue to score in the scorebook as well.

perhaps not the pswd but the user id as an unique identification to go in the chauka database.. cool one though.. :)
