Tableau Plugin

Hello! I'm not a developer, but I am trying to figure out how I can access our Zengine database to do data analysis more seamlessly. My first wish is set up some dashboards with analysis that can be easily updated with our Zengine data and ideally shared on the web.

I see there is a Tableau web connector available in the marketplace, but it looks like it is in danger of being retired. Does anyone know if there will be an updated one?

Also is it ok to request a permanent access token if all I want to use is the Tableau web connector? For now... maybe some day I will learn enough to make my own application!

We are finalizing our updated Tableau connector now. It should be released before end of July or at least be in the hands of our clients using Tableau Desktop. 

Regarding getting a permanent access token, that is up to you and your policy.  The permanent access token removes a step that to using the web connector, but you do not need to have one. Simply retrieve the 1 hour token from https://platform.zenginehq.com/account/developer each time you re going to use the connector.
