Galaxys Edge is told out of sequence. Book two is an expansive interlude between the stories of Legionnaire and Kill Team, for reasons that will become obvious throughout the series.

Years have passed since the battle of Kublar, and Wraith is in deep cover for Legion Dark Ops, living a second life on the edge as an irreverent smuggler and bounty hunter under the alias of Captain Keel. As he fights off pirates and double-crossing rebels, Keel comes to realize that the old lines between right and wrong have blurred as the Legion sinks further under the corrupting influence of the House of Reason and its points.

The galaxy ignites as Goth Sullus and his fleet unleash a devastating surprise assault on the Republic. All that stands in his way are the 7th Fleet and the Legion. But with allies hidden in the very heart of the Republic, Sullus looks to reshape the galaxy in his own image.

With the galaxy in turmoil, the Legion initiates Article Nineteen, a hard reset designed to halt the corruption and ineptitude that continues to spill forth from the Galactic Core. But when the House of Reason aligns itself with the bloodthirsty zhee extremists, the Legion has no choice but to commit to a savage campaign of Total War.

This companion book follows the legendary Tyrus Rechs as he carves his way through the galaxy's darkest corners. Requiem for Medusa takes place prior to the events of Legionnaire, but the world-building is best read prior to finishing season one.

With the galaxy in tatters, Chhun and Wraith lead Kill Team Victory and the remnants of the Legion in a clandestine final effort to bring about Article Nineteen. It's needed now more than ever as the Republic's new emperor, Goth Sullus, grows increasingly enigmatic and tyrannical in his rule, leaving some to question their roles in bringing the mysterious leader of the Black Fleet to power.

Kel Turner is one of the youngest legionnaires ever to be selected to its ranks. After many battles and trials, he is faced with the greatest challenge of his life - operating by himself on a remote planet at the galaxy's edge...

On Detron, a simmering protest boils over and turns deadly when militants hiding among the demonstrators deliberately shoot down a group of legionnaires, executing one survivor and taking two for ransom. The only Republic asset the captured leejes can rely on is a lone marine sniper who defies orders in a desperate attempt to save them.

The daughter of a Legion war hero, fighting was in Andien Broxin's blood. But the battles Republic marines face on strange and alien worlds are a far cry from the vaunted, brutal, no-holds-barred conflicts fought at the edge of the galaxy by the elite legionnaires...

The Iron Wolves are a company of legionnaires whose legendary exploits date back to the Savage Wars. When they are invited to be guests of honor at a ceremony on a small, backwater planet, they look forward to some precious time away from the constant conflicts of galaxy's edge.

Stryker Company always brings the fight, but when they relieve embittered and embattled Republic marines, they find an enemy unwilling to stand up and face them. Tasked with protecting the Republic's interests on a mining world, the legionnaires face roadside ambushes, double-dealing locals, and constant sabotage.

This is for reading one series at a time, in order of first-in-series publication. If you prefer, you can find a chronological timeline here. There are also reading tips if you want the full choose your own path experience! Books are released all the time, so be sure to check the Reading Order page in the menu for the most up-to-date lists and alternate reading experiences.

Otherwise, our next stop is Avengers Disassembled, where Brian Michael Bendis and David Finch kick off the modern Marvel era of events. Note here that Avengers re-adopted the original numbering so it could sell a number #500.

Following the events of Civil War, Avengers titles start to get really fractured. You have your official, government-sanctioned Avengers (Mighty), your rebel Avengers (New), and your Avengers: Initiative training program.

A note here that the Dark Avengers omnibus may well be the best option for collecting all these issues. It really just depends on your interest level in Dark Avengers / Uncanny X-Men: Utopia, which is not included in the omnibus.

Hello!

first of all great site for a beginner like me! Thank you!

I have a question:in the 10 best avengers stories where do you place the infinity gauntlet ( and also infinity war and crusade)?

Hi, I really love your guide but I think you should add the New Avengers Annual #2 (2006 in MU) just after Civil War because they change the line-up and it throws you off a little. Thanks a lot for your hard work. ? hugs from mexico

Uncanny Avengers can be read at the start of Marvel NOW! Both New Avengers and Avengers are still ongoing after Infinity, and you can continue to read those series following the events of Infinity as you like ?

Another question do you think i should follow this order (marvel now) with infinity and tie-in

I know it gonna be confusing so what do you suggest if i want the avengers and the infinity story lie

Suggestion: Some time far in the future, do you think you could assemble a reading order for all modern era marvel? It seems like you started this with Part 1 of your reading order but then subsequently focused only on crossovers.

However, some of my books have characters that cross over from one series to another, so to get a more nuanced reading experience and the full backstory on everyone, you might consider starting at the Bad Habit Series and working your way forward from there.

Pen Pal, Perfect Strangers, Midnight Valentine, Rules of Engagement, The Last Vampire, and all three books in the Slow Burn Series are complete standalones. None have recurring characters, and can be read in any order.

The entire Company beginnings start in this series. But each series is its own entry point. You can jump in and read them out of order as long as you follow the specific series reading order.

Clover Bradley was having the worst day of her life and then she got kidnapped. In her own home. Well, her empty and currently being renovated childhood home on the edge of Disciple, West Virginia and not her former cozy cottage on the grounds of the Dixie Yonder Hotel where she was working and thriving until that very morning. But it still counts and definitely makes her very bad day much worse.

Enter Amon Parrish. Back in high school Amon was voted most likely to get caught with his pants down. He was a trouble maker. The quintessential bad boy. But twelve years away from home, traveling the world and working with Collin Creed doing super-secret (and somewhat illegal) things, changed all that. These days Amon Parrish is a brand-new, stand-up man.

The Echo on the Water is a swooning plate of small-town fiction served up with a side of spice. It honors the themes of friends to lovers, found family, and is filled with bigger-than-life, morally-grey characters against a backdrop of the weird and wonderful.

THIS BOOK WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE AT NOOK, KOBO, AND APPLE ON PRE-ORDER and will release two days early at those distributors. It will go into Kindle Unlimited on the stated release day of July 25, 2024.

JA Huss is a scientist, New York Times Bestseller, USA Today Bestseller, and a cowgirl who rides English. Five of her books were optioned for TV/film, several of her audiobooks have been nominated for the Audie and SOVA Awards, and she was a RITA Finalist in 2019. She has been an indie author in both fiction and non-fiction for seventeen years and lives on a ranch in Colorado with her family, horses, dogs, goats, donkeys, and chickens.

This series is about the children of characters featured in both Court High and Court University. This is my darkest series and very steamy. The first three books are about one couple and are interconnected/have to be read in order. Books 4 and 5 are a duet about another couple and can be read without reading the first three. Book 6 is a standalone and can be read by itself, BUT for best enjoyment in regards to the timeline read all six books in the order listed below.

Each series can be read independent of the others. However, most of my books have characters that cross over from one series to another, so to get a more nuanced reading experience and the full backstory on everyone, you could consider this reading order.
