Getting this group going again.

Hello All, 

I would really like to get this group going again. I plan on taking the exam later this year and i believe this group can be an excellent resource, even if you are not planning on taking the exam anytime soon. 

In order to get this going we need people to post questions each day, (no more than 3) that we can discuss throughout the day. Dan did a great job with this in the past and i'm hoping someone can step up and do this again. 

I can post a every now and then but i cannot guarantee consistency. I have a study guide with questions if anyone is interested.

Hey Darren,

It's good to hear that you are interested to bring the group back to life. I think there is a lot of interest in ZCE preparation so it's always good to have some sort of central knowledge base or at least discussion board.

Although Dan did an amazing job consistently posting questions, I think we should be open to consider other ways to get the group going. For instance, a few thoughts/suggestions:
1) Setup a target test date(s). That would allow others to decide whether to join the group now and actively participate or miss an opportunity to test with the group;
2) Perhaps it makes sense to have weekly topics instead of daily questions. Then during that week everyone contributes something interesting or tricky they read/discovered. Or even if it's just a summary - writing it should help to memorize the new material. Also general questions may inspire some valuable discussions too.

Venkat, I shared the questions with you via google drive. Perhaps you can alternate days or weeks with Dan

Alex, great suggestions. 

The target test days may be hard to implement, we're probably all at different levels and have different level of commitment. 

Weekly topics make sense. We can follow the study guide and do one topic per week and have discussions around that. 

Lets finish up this week and maybe start next week with 

PHP BASICS

topics can include Syntax, operators, variables, control structures, namespaces, ...etc.
