Aoa,

I noticed that there is an option to change Arabic fonts in Zekr. Is
there a font or display mode in which the words are colour coded to
show tajweed?

No, this is not yet possible. You can, however, replace current Quran text file, with a rich-text HTML file with colored diacritics, if you have such a file.

I think I can do that, create a small program to re-format Quran text. But I want to get the color code of Quran Tajweed first.

Al-salam `alaykum,

You could presumably just use spans with classes like "idgham",
"qalqala" etc. and apply a corresponding background color to each
class. It would look somewhat similar to this:
http://www.muslimaccess.com/quraan/tajweed/quran_tajweed_rules.asp.
One could probably automate the markup work if you put a little
thought into it. It sounds like a good idea.

For your own use, you can also use the one recently provided by http://www.versebyversequran.com/ for download.

Tanzil license do not allow any manipulation of the Quran text and all these 'conversions' should be done through a filter in the program on-the-fly. Feel free to file a feature request here to add such a filter:
