Stainlessseamless precision tubes Precision steel tubes are characterized by special dimensional accuracy of outer and inner diameters or wall thickness, smooth surface resulting from drawing technology, defined mechanical properties and a large dimensional variety. The precision tubeshave exactly measured inner and outer dimensions, they have tight tolerances and roughness of the surface as well. Precision steel pipe is a kind of steel material produced with high-precis..
Stainless Welded Pipes - EN 10216-5This type of welded pipes is considered for lower pressure purposes. Our welded stainless steel pipes are made to withstand the greatest heat and the high pressure; they are unaffected by acids and don't give corrosion a chance! A welded stainless steel pipe or tube can pass through more than 100 production steps before taking its final form and quality.Stainless welded tubes acc. to DIN EN 10216-5 come in a l..
EN 10216-5 Stainless Steel Seamless Tubes is considered for pressure purposes. This feature of the stainless steel seamless tube is important because this type of tube is constantly put to use where extreme conditions prevail and where safety of people and the trouble-free operation of plant and equipment must be ensured. It is made to resist the greatest heat and the highest pressure and it is unaffected by acids and is corrosion resistant. EN 10216-5 Stainless Steel Pipe or tube can pass through more than 100 production steps before taking its final form and quality. It is used in sewage disposal and water supply which has to withstand high internal and external pressures. DIN EN 10216-5 High Precision tubes are available as thin wall tubes in seamless or welded redrawn condition or as seamless thick wall tubes. It has coating options for many different conditions and processes. It provides weight savings, corrosion resistance, narrow tolerances or low processing costs. The strength of precision tubing ranges from E190 up to DP980. It enables you to find the best steel grade and type for your purposes. It has tight tolerances and high surface quality in combination with extreme bendability. It is most effective in environmental and economical way of protecting steel against corrosion. DIN EN 10216-5 Cold drawn Tubes are made by cold drawing a larger seamless tube, which is usually manufactured through a HFS process. In the CDS process, the mother tube is pulled through a die & plug in cold without any heating. Due to the tool on outside and inside the surface and tolerances becomes better. It provides high strength-to-weight ratio and can be processed to provide a combination of good surface quality, dimensional accuracy, good machinability, excellent micro-structure uniformity and high tensile properties. It well suited for such post-treatments as carburizing and heat treating.
ASTM A213 TP 347 ASME SA 213 TP 347H EN 10216-5 1.4550 is a stabilized stainless steel which offers as its main advantage an excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion following exposure to temperature in the chromium carbide precipitation range from 800 to 1500F (427 to 816C). Alloy 347 347H is austenitic chromium steel containing columbium stabilized by the addition of columbium and tantalum.
Alloy 347 stainless steel is also advantageous for high temperature service because of its good mechanical properties. Alloy 347 stainless steel tubing offers higher creep and stress rupture properties than Alloy 304 and, particularly, Alloy 304L, which might also be considered for exposures where sensitization and intergranular corrosion are concerns. 347 stainless steel has a high resistance to prolonged heat and corrosion making it well suited for engine, power generation, welded fabrications and other high heat applications. 347 stainless steel offers good mechanical properties with higher creep and stress rupture characteristics than other grades, such as 304. 347 stainless steel is also advantageous in applications that require omission of the annealing process after welding.
347/347H Stainless Steel Description
347 347H Stainless Steel are austenitic chromium steels containing columbium. 347 347H Stainless Steel are recommended for parts fabricated by welding which cannot be subsequently annealed. These types also are used for parts which are intermittently heated and cooled to temperatures between 800F and 1600F. The addition of columbium produces a stabilized type of stainless that eliminates carbide precipitation, and consequently, intergranular corrosion.
Higher creep stress and rupture properties when compared with 304
Ideal for high temperature service
Overcomes sensitization and intergranular corrosion concerns
Can be used in elevated temperature applications for ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code applications
Due to stabilisation the material offers better overall corrosion resistance when compared to 304/304L
Excellent mechanical properties
A high carbon version (347H) is also available
