I bought an HDMI adapter form the apple store today and connected my macbook air to my 60 inch Vizio LED TV. When i do this all the TV screen displays is the background image that is on my macbook. Absolutely nothing else from the desktop shows up. If I open an app it doesnt show up on screen. The icons on my desktop dont show up and none of the menu bars. Does anyone have any idea what I need to do to fix this?

It's not that old, not even 1 month old, I didn't see any important changes so I didn't compile new one ...

Also it's a 64-bit machine and PLi is not 100% compatible with 64-bit so it won't bring any good for you.

Don't expect too much from develop images as they're in developing stage, in most cases I work blind as I don't have the box.

Good news are comping just wait for "Open Vision", coming soon

1. When viewing the input from the TV's internal tuner I have full control over all Picture Settings (Wide Zoom, Normal, Full, Zoom, etc), however when watching input from HDMI1 I can't control any Picture settings at all & I get a message saying "Not available with current signal". I have also noticed that ALL HDMI input settings are defaulted to Wide Zoom, which is clearly not ideal from an image quality perspective, as whilst the image appears slightly larger, I am assuming it is effectively stretching & cropping the image :(.

My UHD BT YV box has by default worked out that my TV is UHD, 50fps, 8bit, so has set it's output at that. The article linked to above seems to indicate that for my model of TV, with a UHD input I don't get an option to change any Picture Settings on an HDMI port (a bit strange)! Also it is strange that I have also noticed in my pictures above that ALL HDMI input settings are defaulted to Wide Zoom, which is clearly not ideal from an image quality perspective, as whilst the image appears slightly larger, I am assuming it is effectively stretching & cropping the image in this mode - not great.

Hmm. I think this was a stupid question. Was thinking: how can I show images on a HDMI port from a headless Raspberry. However I should install a Raspbian with GUI layer, and show a kiosk browser I assume. In that browser I have to show Kevin's live stream.

The only way that I could get them to display an image on the Xavier NX was to power them off of the Windows computer and originally connect the DP to it, then after I have an image in the displays I move the DP over to the Xavier NX without disconnecting anything else. At this point I do see the desktop background in the headset, but it is very broken, it appears that there are lines in the display that are shifted and they are changing fairly rapidly. This can be fixed by changing the refresh rate to 70hz, the image then becomes less broken, but still not perfect. If I then dial in some underscan in the NVIDIA X Server Settings app, the image fixes itself entirely.

I tried different images: OpenAtv 5.1 (for me the best), openspa 5.0.004, HDF, PLi, HDMU, NFR, and also different skin but I do not see any difference between 1080p and 720p.
By comparison, in my old azbox 1080p looks much, much better, especially when watching football and movies. In fact, it is not even possible to compare
Is there something wrong with my new box Is there any solution
