I went to Cabelas 100% set to buy something else. Picked this rod up and fell in love. The guides, the grips and cork, the weight, balance, color, its a perfectly made rod. I snagged the 7-3 ML for using mostly with Great Lakes Finesse stuff and so far it's performed FLAWLESSLY. Legit cannot over-recommend this rod for light / finesse / small minnows or small tube set ups. The only negative, which isn't really a negative persay; the trigon thing - you can't notice or feel it when using. Just feels normal. To me at least.

I am a big fan of St Croix Rods. I have a number of them. I had a Mojo Bass MJS68MXF. I loved that rod. Sadly I broke it. Totally my fault. But St Croix always wants to make their customers happy. This was right when the new Trigon rods came out. I was expecting an original model as I assumed they kept some back for warranty replacements. But nope. They sent me one of the new Trigon rods. My first impression was not good. The blank is perfect just like the original. The guides I like better. So what was the problem? The handle. Not a fan of the triangle. And it feels so cheap. Feels like a piece of trash. I have had $60 rods that had a nicer handle on it. I have heard some people are having trouble tightening up their reels on them. At first, I did as well but I moved the reel around and it set in and I was able to tighten it. but I thought it was going to break. I kept waiting to do this review because I did not want to say anything bad about St Croix. But I have to be honest. And the price they are charging now for these rods. They have put them out of my reach. Charge more for a cheaper feeling rod? I don't think so. I guess I am going to be buying other rods if they stick with these handles. How could they not see how cheap these handles are? But I guess it is all about perspective. Because some people love them and think they are great. I am glad they like them. But my experience and feelings are not the same.

TRIGONCAMO SERIES
The TrigonCamo series was developed to offer unique and highly effective patterns with a distinguished flair. The exclusive trigon arrangements are amazingly effective while providing unique and highly desirable capabilities.

TrigonCamo Snow
TrigonCamo Snow was developed for use in various snow-studded landscapes. It is somewhat reminiscent of the current USMC winter camouflage which has proven to be highly effective. TrigonCamo Snow works incredibly well in a wide variety of snowy winter conditions.

TrigonCamo Woodland (Deciduous)
TrigonCamo Woodland (Deciduous) was designed with deciduous forests of the temperate regions of Europe, Canada and the United States in mind. A keen eye will note there is an ever so slight hint of red incorporated into the darker brown of the pattern. This minor, almost unnoticeable hue is critically important in the fall in these areas.

BrushPat Multi-Terrain (1B)
This pattern was our first development in the series. BrushPat Multi-Terrain works great in the forests of Central Europe and other areas of similar vegetation. This pattern is also eminently suitable for use in the Rocky Mountains as well as the coastal regions of the Eastern United States.

BrushPat Jungle
BrushPat Jungle was developed for use in jungles and swamps. It has a trace of the old Vietnam Tiger Stripe style camo patterns incorporated into it and it works especially well in double and triple canopy jungle, jungle highlands, swamps and other tropical locales.

BrushPat Desert
As the name implies, BrushPat Desert was designed for deserts and similar environments that are mostly void of vegetation and cover. This pattern works incredibly well in expansive barren environments where very little natural concealment and means for camouflage are available.

Straight up fighting will probably result in a stalemate if the Omega Beams get involved, if not then Trigon takes it through superior physical stats. On another note, Trigon's eye beams can destroy planets if he wants to, so its not like he doesn't have raged abilities on his own.

PC Darkseid might win, FC Darkseid stomps handily. Otherwise Darkseid probably loses, or stalemates with omega beam, assuming it works on Trigon. Trigon is easily a planetary threat, with supernatural powers on his side.

Not so sure FC Darkseid would win, mainly because he was physically no stronger or resilient than Dan Turpin and his main power was derived through the Anti-Life equation affecting half the Earths population, that might give him three billion sets of Omega Beams to fire, but what is that compared to Trigon turning the entire world to stone in the blink of an eye?

Trigon is a powerful demon that conquers dimensions. He is the most powerful evil being there is, he has never been killed(darksied has) only imprison. Darksied is bass and should be in the JLA movies as the main enemy, but he cant compete on trigon level omega beams can only take you so far, hell they might tickle trigon.

There was litterally 0 reason to bump this, there are no non-amped versions of Darkseid that even stand a remote chance against Trigon. Trigon confirmed destroyed at least one Universe and drained the life out of several more.

Hmmm, so for nu52 the multiverse map seems to imply that The New Gods (and thus their leaders) are on the same level as the leaders of hell, the other pantheons, etc. Highfather could completely no-sell the Guardians, and he doesn't think he could defeat Darkseid, so Darkseid is obviously pretty powerful. I know nothing of nu52 Trigon though.

I have not used the trigon blocks, but at least for me a typical reason for those contact overlaps is when the contact stiffnesses are much too low (or the stiffnesses for newly found contacts are not assigned at all).

It might be worth mentioning, that - oddly enough - blocks falling through the model sometimes are not even the ones causing the overlap error, since these blocks apparently have not even found a contact with the block they are falling through. And since you mentioned that the problem later occurs in blocks without large displacements I would still suspect some other problem behind it.

try a comparatively small overlap tolerance (maybe 1 cm or so) and then try to find the error. The model should still be fairly intact by then and it could be easier to detect the problem. Then analyze the contact properties etc. of the offending contact. Maybe this will give you a clue as to why these problems occur.

at last, try to replicate your problem in a extemely simplified version of your model. If you can reduce and reproduce it in a simple test model, it might be worthwile to send it to the Itasca support for inspection.

The contact overlap is controlled by the contact normal stress and the contact normal stiffness. You can list the contact stresses and displacements and calculate the amount of overlap (stress/stiffness). You can increase the stiffness to decrease the overlap and you can also change the overlap tolerance (though this may lead to more blocks popping through).
