It is no longer on the system for the auditor. So far I have not heard if this is a glitch in the system or if this is how 7-Eleven designed it.

>My employees are saying that the font size of the recent software instal is a pain in the neck; as they failed to make it any bigger. Is there any solution to that. Also, we will have to re-enter all the prices of SSI/NRI items. In a retail based accounting system; and moreso when all the losses are of franchisees; this process should have been as easier as it could be possible. If anybody knows any additional good feature installed during this software upgrade. I have distinctly noticed that before we used to gracefully enter into our store through front door; but now have to sneak into it through no where. thnx bill b.

It has been suggested from one of our national leaders that corporate deliberately messed up the SSA/NRI purge a few weeks ago.  According to this person, he actually spoke to the IT person who programmed the
software and it was a deliberate action.  The assault on franchisees...continues!!!

the new "upgrade" is pretty awful.   It takes away some tools, and replaces them with constraints.   retailer initiative be damned!
had to take a few steps back, as now I am religiously PHONING-IN my add-ons to the McLane CSR!   Hey!, I know how to work out of a looseleaf binder if I have to!
SEI is either ill-advised, or they want to go back to the cookie-cutter approach.
They've tied my hands!!!    Is this what they want?

Hi Jack:

Sometimes, things are done by corporate to prove who is the incharge here; though their action(s) may not have any business value.

I am afraid if this action may not be instrumental in causing huge negative inventory variation as number of stores have reported such occurence.

It seems SEI is vigorously pursuing their narrow interests; ignoring all other stakeholders, including their store "guests".

Conflicts are bound to arise when corporate continues to treat franchisees like an ATM; which they need to cease.

thanks bill b.

As I see it, the term CDC is replaced with BT. The remaining script mostly remains the same.

I wonder with regard to CDC, who is going to bank laughing?........thnx bill

Certainly not zees!  I think the third parties are havin' a hard time also.  It's corporate who's the sole beneficiary of the program!
