Hi everyone,

Zeebro has shipped several builds since most of you installed, and it turns out
Google Play never told you about any of them. Play sends no email when a new
build goes out on a closed test, and a closed test app never shows up in Play
Store search. So if you were waiting to hear about an update, that is why you
heard nothing. Sorry about that, it is fixed from the next build on.

HOW TO GET THE LATEST BUILD

Open the Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then "Manage apps and
device", then "Manage", then "Updates available". Zeebro should be in that
list. Tap Update.

Searching for "Zeebro" in the Play Store will never find it. Closed tests are
hidden from search, that is normal and not a problem with your phone.

This direct link also works, but only for accounts that have opted in:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.zeebro

If the link says "Item not found", open the opt-in page first, using the same
Google account your Play Store app is signed in with:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/io.zeebro

TURN ON AUTO UPDATE SO YOU NEVER HAVE TO DO THIS AGAIN

On the Zeebro page in the Play Store, tap the three dot menu at the top right
and tick "Enable auto update". New builds then install by themselves.

IF YOU INSTALLED ZEEBRO FROM THE FIREBASE LINK (BEFORE 28 JULY)

Play cannot update that version at all. The two versions are signed with
different keys and Android refuses to install one over the other, usually with
a confusing message about another user having an incompatible version. You need
to uninstall Zeebro first, then install it again from the opt-in link above.
Uninstalling clears your session, so you will have to sign in again.

WHAT CHANGED RECENTLY

- Shared shopping lists now tell the other members when someone adds items.
Items added close together arrive as one notification, not one per item.
- Joining a shared list now asks for notification permission. This fixes
shared-list notifications that only worked in one direction. If you are
already on a shared list this cannot reach you, so open
More > Notifications and switch any toggle off and back on, once.
- The store picker no longer dead ends when it has no GPS fix. It now explains
why nearby suggestions are missing and can enable location on the spot.
Nearby suggestions also cover discount chains, drugstores and convenience
  stores now, not just supermarkets.
- Scanning a barcode shows a "searching" spinner while the catalog lookup runs,
and shows the product photo straight away so a wrong scan is caught by eye
  before you save it.
- New "Follow my position" switch in the location screen, so searches use where
you actually are instead of a map pin you set once.
- Search now groups each product into a single card with all its sizes, with
new filter chips for size and per kg. Product names are cleaner throughout.

WHAT TO TEST

Anything you like, but the store picker, search filters, and a receipt scan are
the newest and the most worth breaking.

FROM NOW ON

Zeebro will tell you inside the app when a new build is ready, with an Update
button that does it in the background. You only need to do the manual steps
above once, to get onto this build.

Thanks for testing. Feedback and bug reports to sup...@zeebro.io, or just
reply here.
