git related commands seem to be missing/do nothing?

Hi,


I just installed the Chrome app (I intend to use it on my chromebook: love the constant auto-save and persistent settings). I need of course to use git, to compare commited code with the current stuff, in case I accidentally add/edit/delete code and not notice (no "save changes" warning here!).


There is a plugin already installed called git-tools, but it doesn't seem to do anything. The commands seemingly included in the plugin don't seem to work either, and this is true in at least two environments (Linux and Windows). In both cases Zed is being used in the git rep root. I tried upgrading the plugin (which should not be necessary since the whole installation is fresh) but nothing changed. See screenshot below, where the commands don't even seem to appear in the dropdown list. What's wrong?
