Hello,

I'm simulating nanosecond discharges in air with ambiant pressure and temperature conditions. I use kinet_N2_O2_v1.03 as a kinetics input file.

My code works correctly. However, I just decided to change the cross-sections input file to fine tune my results. Therefore I imported new cross-sections from lxcat and created a new bolsigdb.dat file.

After several iterations (as soon as I reach a value of E/N close to 25 Td), I get the following error:
forrtl: severe (157): Program Exception - access violation
It seems to be caused by the following subroutine:
call ZDPlasKin_bolsig_SolveBoltzmann(j,bolsig_cfg(1:j,i),k,bolsig_reslt(1:k,i))

Do you know the root cause of this problem?
I don't understand how the use of new cross-sections could raise such a low level Fortran error.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Tanguy,

You're going in the fun part: choosing the "right" cross-section and make them work. Why don't you change the cross-section one by one and tell us which one is causing problem?
