High Plains Raceway Email News Service High Plains Raceway Announces The HPR "Straw Hat Gala" is this coming Saturday.  Don't miss it.  Come out for part of the day or for the whole day.  As advertised, the day will be fun-filled with entertainment for the entire family -- Live music, lots of vendors, and even a Pro/Celebrity race has been added to the day's activities.    The donation rides in some very exotic cars (at full speed) are going fast (pun intended).  You should probably call ahead for reservations and details.  Depending on which exotic car, minimum donations are $50 to $250 for the ride of your life.  Call Denise at 303-475-8818 for details, availability, and reservations.   There will also be donation track tours in your own car (at very moderate speeds behind a pace car).   Tickets for this will be on sale at the main HPR booth in the paddock.  Experience the entire HPR circuit in your own car.   And if you are a Founding Contributor, come out and see your Commemorative Brick.   All 300 plus bricks are now on display at the track.   Also available for sale (but free to Founding Contributors) is an outstanding full-color 32-page Commemorative Program which you'll want to pick up and have as a keepsake.    If you have an interesting collector car or motorcycle your wish to display, just come on out and join in the fun.  There will be a People's Choice awarded in nine different classes.   See you there and please feel free to invite family, friends and neighbors.  In the meantime, check out the extensive list of vendors and sponsors bringing you this fantastic day. Schedule For The Day   All Day:  Car/Motorcycle Show, Food & Vendor Booths, Bounce castle, Sledgehammer Car and Dunk Tank.    Live Auctions throughout the day.  Two great auction items just added are 1) a ride in a new Murcielago 670-SV shipped in just for this Gala and 2) a ride in a Gallardo 560 Spyder.  The two winning bidders will also receive a hat and shirt from Lamborghini.  These two Lambo rides will be auctioned in the morning and the rides provided during the lunch hour.  All other items will be auctioned throughout the day.  Check out all the auction items at HPR Booth.
