One Year Of ZC Virtual Netlabel
(From ZC Virtual Netlabel blog on Myspace)

ZC VIrtual Netlabel - a place where you can download good music for free

Hi ! We set up ZC virtual netlabel one year ago. Now, everything is
fine. There are visits on the new website (
http://nicolaschartoire.hostrator.com/zc ), the albums are downloaded.
When we started the netlabel one year ago, we only had the first four
albums of Still Living Creature, and Beatles II's 'Demo 0'. In October
2008, there were the issuings of Sultor Nacle's 'Album No 1', which
rapidly ranked #1 album of the netlabel with 88 downloads, of Gorbie's
Stuff two-tracks 'Someone+Shebang' and Houston Capuccino Livermore
Project's album of white noise. These two albums were published on
Bittorrent using The Pirate Bay as a tracker. But the tracker is now
offline, even if there were rumors of it becoming online again soon.
In the meanwhile, theses files are no longer available. If you own a
copy of these albums you can share them on your favorite peer-to-peer
network, both of them are Creative Commons licensed.

Still in October, there was the new album of Still Living Creature,
'Free Drug'. In November Hacking Tree Directory joined the nelabel
with a first song. In December The Kuang joined the netlabel, first
with a single song. Still in December Beatles II's 'Demo 0' was
republished on Lulu, the original website of the band, on which the
song were online since spring 2002, being offline with the shutdown of
the free web hosting service Chez.com. The album was downloaded 24
times on Lulu for now, and is regulary gaining new listeners. Between
January and February Still Living Creature issued four live studio
albums. In march Brainless On Line/Raving Lunatics joined the netlabel
with their instrumental mini-album. The band is still working on its
live CD, which should be out soon. In April Still Living Creature
issued 'More Martian Music'. In the meanwhile The Kuang was
continously releasing new songs, up untill a total of 5 in May,
including the popular 'You', and Hacking Tree Directory was releasing
two 'automatic slams'. In May Still Living Creature released is most
downloaded album for now, 'The Bright Side Of The Town' (52
downloads). In June we've been publishing the first four albums of
Still Living Creature on Lulu (they were only on Last.fm untill then).

In August Gorbie's Stuff issued 'Almost Complete' which was rapidly
downloaded 53 times. That's where we are now. Thank you for supporting
the netlabel, don't forget to download our albums, and come on the
website for more infos on the various bands of the netlabel.
