z'Bumba plays Forró -  (fo-HOH), the rootsy, raucous, and rebellious dance music from Brazil's Northeast.

Shooting out synaptic-swift rhythms from a ringing triangle, z'Bumba layers in swirling accordion lines like sweet guava and holds it all down with a healthy dose of traditional percussion. 

São Paulo songstress Gabriella intones passionate portuguese poetry that  sounds like a smile, often culminating in a gleeful full-band chorus. One part Zydeco, one part Salsa, with a splash of Cumbia and a lime twist, Forró served up by z'Bumba is fun for all.
