Once marginalized in Brazil as being “Music for Maids and Taxi Drivers,” Forró is enjoying a surge in popularity on both continents.  Often likened to Zydeco and Cumbia, forró’s mix of Afro-Brazilian rhythm and bittersweet melody is great for dancing.

...serves up a a high-energy, accordion-driven jerk-curry 'gator gumbo goulash with a dash of salsa. From Afropop to Zydeco and a little ska-cha-cha in between, you can rock your body and feed your soul with the swampy island-shakin' funk of Papa Coyote.
