We are winding down the preparations and things have come together as planned.  Brother Scott Spiro is putting together a powerpoint for us of old photos from all of us.  Please send all your photos to this  email blast list.  Maybe best to stay off Facebook with them. Brothers:

 

Here’s the report/reunion plans from the class of ’82  (and howie stein who was always really more part of our class than ’81).

 

Mike aaron, seth lubin and howie will be at my house on Saturday by around 4:00.  Andy Golden, Evan Kelner,and  todd “sat’day boy” morrow are coming earlier than that.   Brad Strober can’t make it until late Saturday night—probably after the official Muhlenberg event.  He’s going to join us wherever we party afterwards and along with at least seth will be staying over Saturday night.  Mike tendler remains off the grid for now.

 

All classes are welcome to join us at my place at 350 paxinosa road west, Easton pa 18040.  (short drive off either the downtown Easton or 13^th street exit of route 22  ) see,  http://mapq.st/RtLuJ0

 

Saturday afternoon pre-party any time after 1:00-5:30- drinks, food/grill and tunes.  (pool if it’s really nice)  followed by caravan to ‘Berg for the reunion.

 

And for those still around the next morning:

 

Sunday morning brunch, starting whenever we get up which is pretty early these days until about 12.

 

Park on the grass/front lawn perpendicular to the driveway.  Don’t ring the front door bell—it drives the dog (“mack”) nuts.   Just walk around the right side of the house to the backyard/deck which is where we’ll be unless it’s raining.  Come in the back/deck door regardless. 

 

(excuse the mess/construction.)

 

I will have all of the old composites that remain ( I’ll publish the list shortly-- not many of the older ones remain) at my place for display and distribution in trust to those willing to take custody/care of same and to preserve and hold them pending the reestablishment of a new alpha nu.   They are not in great condition, some are better than others and all could all use some care/restoration.  Most have frames.   (I’m keeping 1982 which has been semi-restored and hanging in my basement for a while.)

 

RSVP asap so I can get my wife (“Lois” btw) off my back about “how many should I plan for?” even though she won’t buy anything until the day before anyway, but don’t not come last minute if you don’t.  There’s always more than enough beer.

For you non-facebookers, see attached and thanks for a great weekend.

Also, we agreed that we would begin assembling an even more comprehensive ZBT directory than assembled in the lead up to this past weekend. My preference is private e-mail distribution list. But to that end--please do three things:

1-send me a private e-mail (you shouldn't/don't need to broadcast to everyone unless you want to for some reason) so I can add you to my contacts and eventually compile. If you include a v-card or complete contact info that would be even better.

2-pick somebody from your class to find anyone in your class who isn't already on this google list--and fill in the holes. Feel free to volunteer for your class.

3-sign up for facebook and join the alpha nu page and encourage others to do so as well. While its less private and somewhat problematic for that reason--it has value in terms of staying in touch with people you haven't seen in 30 years--even if you don't actively post your own items. (you should be spying on your kids' facebook pages anyway.)
