Hi

The reunion is on. The reunion has always been on for Sept 8.  We are expecting a huge turn out by the feedback so far.  Us meeting at Muhlenberg will show the administration we are united, we are potential  contributors and we are strong in numbers.  We can get ZBT back on campus and selfishly this is a good thing as it can foster future reunions.  No matter when and where a reunion is scheduled for there will always be a few who have conflicts.  It is unfortunate that some cannot come and it is the hope of your brothers that you can rearrange things to be there.  If not we understand.  You will be missed!  Too much work and time and effort has been spent to get things to this point.  It is all set.  All arranged.  Hotel, party and location is set.  The reunion is on.

Please help us and contact all your classmates and get as many brothers as possible to join in this reunion.  Brothers are coming from Atlanta, Seattle, Florida, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MD, VA, IL…

The REUNION IS ON:  SEPT 8 at Seegers Union.  6PM  Other activities to be announced…stay tuned.

RSVP to 800-464-2374 (Office of Alumni Relations)

I echo brother Feit's sentiments here. Nearly two years ago some of us set out to explore the possibilities of bringing ZBT back to the 'berg. There are numerous dynamics at play here as to why recently it appears our efforts have been once again seemingly rebuked.
When Jon Greenberg approached me last December again we set in motion a plan to finally meet face to face with the administration. We MUST show numbers substantial enough for the college to take notice. It all starts with one meeting. The rest will come-- hopefully-- it's like Nixon finally going to China-- all the talk and rhetoric will do nothing- it's time we hold no grudges- what is past is past- we must smartly focus on the future- if we show numbers of successful alumni then we become in the driver's seat. The next step will be to formulate a pledge to raise money as ZBT alumni- alot of money- to fund a chair ( we could honor ginz) at the college , but only in return for the resumption of the alpha ny chapter. This may take another year or so, but we need to finally start somewhere substantive.
I trust collectively we're smart enough to get this done. Future reunions can be held at the new ZBT house.
And BTW for the short sighted dummy who thought business attire was dumb- I ask you how else should we disrespect the administration? -- I mean come on- it won't kill you to show up in a jacket and tie... For three hours

I hope we get more than 150 to show up. That's potentially a million dollars to them- that's how they'll see it

See you all in September

I know that myself and a few others from my class have conflicts and can not make it.  Is there any ideas for showing support from those that cant make it, perhaps a list to let the school know that we are still in contact and supportive of the efforts to bring ZBT back.

An interesting side note, at our 20 year reunion last year we had 10 brothers show up together (more than half of our surviving ZBT class year).   This also represented approximately 1/3 of the total attendees for our entire class and no other fraternity or sorority had comparable representation.  The alumni relations office is aware of the strength of our turnout at the reunion.

Thank you for those who spearheaded getting this reunion put together, I know it was a lot of work and effort.

I personally have NEVER donated anything to the the college, simply because one nerver really knows where it will go. I totally agree with Louis and Marc. I'd be willing to donate money to a clear and precise project. I'm in with you guys! Money talks the rest walks ...
Thanks guys for your effort and motivation regarding the project of putting the house back on campus. Good work! Together were are strong!
For guys like me that live down under, let us know what we can do to make our presence felt since I obviously will not be able to attend the meeting.
