Hi all! I failed to get how to purge old backups. I belive that direct removing inside ./backups directory not is a right way. There is no command line option to do that, so how to proceed?

Thanks & regards!

Direct removing inside ./backups directory not IS a right way.
You should run zbackup gc after deletion to remove unused chunks.

Ah, that typo.
Direct removing inside ./backups directory IS a right way.

How would removing the file in the ./backups folder remove the old data?

Isn't the data kept in the bundles folder?

Thanks for the quick reply.

I got a message "Can't parse message FileHeader" when running zbackup gc on a zbackup repo I set up yesterday and tested a restore from (successfully). Can you offer some insight on this error and how I might troubleshoot it?

But there's still no release that includes the fix, right?
