Last night at the build, Philip (with the help of Andrew) completed the first working prototype of SHAC – Smart House Access Control. This is a very sophisticated access control system which is connected to the cloud – sorry a bit lame, but really 
SHAC uses an AWS instance for administrating the access control and sends an encrypted message to the house server to open the gate or front door. The encryption uses a rolling code which is similar to KeyLog found in most car remotes.
