I have recently seen the Hindi film Kabir Singh which is a remake of the Telugu film Arjun Reddy. But I was curious about how things go in Arjun Reddy. I mean is it a scene to scene copy or are there any adaptation differences between them? If yes then what are these differences?

Mostly, Kabir Singh is a scene to scene copy of Arjun Reddy mostly because the director is same and he is very particular about keeping his story consistent. But as Telegu version is 14 minutes longer than the Hindi version, some scenes have been removed. I am listing some of the major ones:

Apart from these, there are some minor changes like the house where all the friends were living during last year is on the beach and Arjun goes for a vacation in Europe and only Kamal visits him there.

Two addition scenes which are missing in Arjun Reddy, first, a boy's hostel scene. In Arjun Reddy, the entire group is living at a beach house from the start. And another, pubic hair removal scene which is only in Kabir Singh.

To keep it short, In Kabir Singh, the main character was shown in a strange kind of god-like way towards his friends and family members. He could abuse them, throw them out of his house and even pick a fight with them, but in this movie, they showed his friends revolving around him like ants near a yummy food. His close friend Shiva on the other hand also was shown not doing anything to help his friend Kabir to show him how shallow he is.

On the other hand in Arjun Reddy movie, the protagonist is not shown as some sort of demi-god. In one scene, when one of Arjun's friend invites him to his wedding, Arjun bursts out on him saying 'he is an unworthy person for being chosen to be part of love marriage'. And the movie shows a well-depicted motivation of his friends trying to make him understand his envious/ bad side. They don't put Arjun on a pedestal, like Kabir Singh's friends do with him.

Aside from a few scenes, the film Kabir Singh is nothing more than a dubbed version of Arjun Reddy with new faces. For me personally Arjun Reddy was a better movie, as Vijay Deverakonda is way more convincing as Arjun than Shahid as Kabir. He manages to show variations in terms of emotions as compared to Shahid's one-note performance.

All the houses represent a historic social significance of their time, as well as the personal stories of the resident family. As the stories unfold with important events surrounding the house or small details of how a certain space was used, or a furniture and object held dear, it becomes evident how some of these intangible aspects of the history of the house make them a distinctive heritage.

A heritage building need not be a monument or landmark building; it can be representative of an epoch or period in the history of the city in many ways. Through this project, we have captured various perspectives in the form of virtual tours, timelines, stories, photographs, architectural features and locations.

I am Kabir Grover, an advanced sports nutritionist and a licensed commercial pilot. I run health by kilo on Instagram and YouTube which is all about health and fitness. In Aviation Phonetics, A is for alpha B is for Bravo C is for Charlie & D is for Delta so in similar way K is for kilo, and K is for Kabir. So in this way Health by Kabir means Health by Kilo Name came up.

So in the beginning, it was a bit hard to convince my family with everything what I was doing because it is really very tough to sustain in fitness industry in India. As market is very huge & competitive & you have to be one of the elite or known face to sustain in such industry. So it was a bit hard to convince them. But once they saw how passionate and how well I am growing on in this platform they have been the biggest support of my life & they have helped me grow the most. So yes definitely my family is really the biggest supporter & strongest pillar in my success journey.

The best childhood memories for me was my school days. I was a big foodie person who used to eat a lot. So every break we had even in between classes we used to run to the canteen to get some food and eat while the class going on. And I still missed that a lot because those times are best days of my life & it will never come back.

WHAT I FOCUS ON, I MANIFEST. When you think of something, when you manifest something, you literally put your gravitational force into it, and you pull it towards you. So when you start putting your focus onto one thing, you actually manifest it & you make it happen.

So I have been in Qatar since 2007. And basically live my whole life here. So Qatar has given me wonderful friends, wonderful opportunities, and a safe Environment. Being here also what got me is you guys and RJ Simran and I am very thankful for that.

From having the courage to leave her marriage to building a company that spans over 34 countries for her and Kabir, Vani shows us all that the universe may give us its challenges but we all have the strength within us to face it head on. We sat down with Vani to share her incredible story of resilience. Keep reading to find out how she got through one of the most difficult chapters in her life and came out the other side, triumphant.

This is episode 1/15 of a campaign by Kidsstoppress and Instagram celebrating moms who are balancing both business and motherhood.

Vani was only 19 when she ran away from her house and got married to someone 15 years older than her. It was a love marriage and it was not what her parents wanted for her and trouble began as soon as the marriage began.

Vani started her spiritual healing journey and left a decent paying job at an advertising firm to start her spiritual enterprise. This was in March 2019 when the pandemic hit. While everyone was closing their business Vani was starting hers.

But it was her spirituality that helped her get to where she wanted to be. Both Kabir and her were able to centre themselves and learn to accept and forgive without blaming the other person. No bitter words or feelings towards her ex-husband, Instead they looked within themselves to be able to move on in a healthy manner.

When Arjun Reddy released, I was eighteen and just three months into college. Eighteen is a very sensitive age. I had just begun to live away from the comfort of home and the familiar, walking tentatively through adulthood and trying to make sense of the world in front of me. Naturally, I was (and still am) very impressionable. It was at such a time when I went with two of my friends to watch Arjun Reddy. I had known nothing about the film or even its leading man, except for the fact that he was in a critically acclaimed Telugu film the previous year.

I come from a privileged family background. I have never once seen my father raising his hand on my mother. I have always been taught the importance of consent, and how abusive relationships are dangerous and wrong. And I am a feminist! I vehemently supported Parvathy during that Kasaba fiasco, and have even gotten into debates with my family arguing for how what she spoke made absolute sense. I have even witnessed friends going through abusive relationships, and tried to help them get out of it. And yet, I thought Arjun Reddy was okay. And I thought so for two years.

It was Kabir Singh and the above interview with the maker of both the films that brought about this much-delayed epiphany. Until this point, I believed that the film was just telling the story of one person and his love, and not necessarily saying that his is an ideal story. And I am all for protagonists with grey shades. Humans are not perfect, and so characters need not be perfect too.

And the problem is not just with one Arjun Reddy or Kabir Singh. These films are but a part of a larger collective of cinema that has constantly upheld the values of male entitlement and toxic masculinity to such an extent that a rape joke, slut-shaming and objectification, stalking, and violence against woman in our films feel okay or even acceptable to us. And these things are NOT okay. And its high time our actors and filmmakers understood the role they play in perpetuating these things, and put a stop to it. Now.

Joseph is penned by Shahi Kabir, who happens to be a policeman himself. He tells us that the film is a character study and an investigation story rolled into one. "In some cases, the police seek the assistance of ex-cops who, armed with a wealth of experience and knowledge, bring in their unique ideas and perspectives to a particular case. Joseph is one such cop," says Shahi.

Shahi adds that the story is a completely fictitious one but with a high degree of realism. On whether he had Joju in mind when writing the script, he says, "I felt Joju would be apt for playing this character after seeing him in Lukka Chuppi."Speaking a bit on Joju's character, he says that he is a loner whose wife divorced him many years ago."This is a psychologically damaged man. His wife got married to a man played by Dileesh Pothan."
