Hello Team,

I am trying to set the address as 127.0.0.1 / localhost etc. and port as 8080/8081 etc. with all the details it just shows me below error with all the address and port - Unable to listen on this address and port.
In Mozilla browser with a manual proxy address its shows below error,- Secure Connection Failed. Kindly review the below screenshot for more details.
Advice, please !!

Thank You,
Bindu.

Something else will already be listenning on port 8080.
Either stop that, change which port its listenning on or choose another port for ZAP to use.

Cheers,

Simon

Hello,

Already tried with another port too but it's not working.

Thanks,

Based on the screenshot you're trying to set an additional proxy with the same details as the main proxy, which obviously won't work because ZAP is already listening there.

IPv6 definitely won't work.

Why do you need to add an alternate proxy? If 8080 is already working (which seems to be the case based on your screenshot).

Are you launching Firefox from the OS or from within ZAP?

Hello, thanks for the reply,

I have tried with many ports and addresses but it's not working. I just want to connect the browser with zap so zap can access all the URLs from the browser and I can go ahead with testing. sorry for the misunderstanding but still not able to get you. can you please share which address and port I need to add to the browser and also in ZAP?

Thank You,
Bindu.
