(de)serialisation of json report with evidence field

Using the json report whilst the evidence field has data is difficult to serialise and de-serialise for use in CI/CD and other automation. Any ideas?

You could tell us _why_ the evidence field is difficult to serialise and de-serialise :)

I'm not aware of any problems with it, but if there are encoding issues then we would want to fix them.
