Hello,
I am trying to import a wsdl using the SOAP Support plugin, but it doesn't do correctly. By console I see the following error:

2021-10-29 11:16:09,216 [ZAP-Import-WSDL-1] ERROR WSDLCustomParser - null
java.lang.NullPointerException: null
at org.zaproxy.zap.extension.soap.WSDLCustomParser.detectParameters(WSDLCustomParser.java:360) ~[soap-10.0.0.zap:?]
at org.zaproxy.zap.extension.soap.WSDLCustomParser.parseWSDL(WSDLCustomParser.java:290) ~[soap-10.0.0.zap:?]
at org.zaproxy.zap.extension.soap.WSDLCustomParser.parseWSDLFile(WSDLCustomParser.java:174) [soap-10.0.0.zap:?]
at org.zaproxy.zap.extension.soap.WSDLCustomParser.access$100(WSDLCustomParser.java:76) [soap-10.0.0.zap:?]
at org.zaproxy.zap.extension.soap.WSDLCustomParser$2.run(WSDLCustomParser.java:134) [soap-10.0.0.zap:?]

I don't know how to solve it. Any idea what might be going on?

Does the wsdl file have to meet some standard?

Thanks in advance.

Hiya,

That looks like a bug - we'll look into fixing that asap.
The wsdl file should meet the SOAP standards, in theory we should support all versions.

Cheers,

A new version of the SOAP add-on is now available in the marketplace
that should fix the issue.

Could you update the add-on and try again?

Best regards.

Thank you very much for your answers.

I have updated the add-on but it still does not work.

Now the error is this:

2021-11-04 09:49:12,978 [ZAP-Import-WSDL-3] ERROR WSDLCustomParser - null
java.lang.NullPointerException: null
at org.zaproxy.zap.extension.soap.WSDLCustomParser.parseWSDL(WSDLCustomParser.java:293) ~[soap-11.0.0.zap:?]
at org.zaproxy.zap.extension.soap.WSDLCustomParser.parseWSDLFile(WSDLCustomParser.java:174) [soap-11.0.0.zap:?]
at org.zaproxy.zap.extension.soap.WSDLCustomParser.access$100(WSDLCustomParser.java:76) [soap-11.0.0.zap:?]
at org.zaproxy.zap.extension.soap.WSDLCustomParser$2.run(WSDLCustomParser.java:134) [soap-11.0.0.zap:?]

Could you share the wsdl that's causing your issues?

Hello, I am attaching a zip that contains two wsdl files, one is the main one that contains an import to the other that I also attached. They are numbered.

Thanks in advance

Best regards

A new version of the SOAP add-on should be released next week which may address this. Though even with an add-on with various fixes in place I still get an error int he end that the endpoint isn't accessible. (Maybe it is for you....)
