Zap MCP Server : how to upload the generated report

The Zap MCP Server exposes the zap_generate_report tool (https://www.zaproxy.org/blog/2026-04-02-zap-mcp-server/).

I use a docker image of Zap, aside with a n8n AI Agent.

The report is stored localy in the Zap docker container.

Is there a way, or a tool, or a ressource to extract the document ?

That is good feedback.

I guess we could change the report tool to return a zip of the report? 

We cannot just return one file as some of the HTML reports need more than one file.

Would that work for you?

Note that you can use the ZAP API to access files (with various restrictions) - see https://www.zaproxy.org/docs/desktop/start/features/api/#filexfer
