Hello,

I tried to change the maximum memory space for the JVM in ZAP's options.
The maximum value changed to 1.67 GiB, but I can't increase it any higher.

I tried changing it in the .ZAP_JVM.properties file, but there was still no change.

I figured I needed to do this with the admin account on this machine, but it didn't work.

I use ZAP 2.16.1 and Java version 8 update 471 and Java SDK 19.0.2.
The machine I use is a Hyper-V hosted virtual computer with 8 GB of RAM.
What do I need to do to set the maximum memory to around 4 GB?

Hi,

How are you launching ZAP? The exe does not use those JVM options, only
the bat.

Best regards.

We cannot change the JVM settings if you use the exe.
You will need to use the bat file.

Cheers,

Simon

That's embarrassing, I found the Bat file, so it works now, thank you very much.

Kind regards,

Peter
