Installation on linux server witout interface

Hello,

I have a little problem, I would like to install OWASP ZAP on a server without a graphical interface (our server does not have a graphical interface) except that I do not know how to do it, is there a tutorial or help because I have not managed to find a solution. (And if there is a solution how can I do afterwards to get the API key and configure OWASP without interface)

Hi Batiste,

The installers all use install4j which has a headless option: https://www.ej-technologies.com/resources/install4j/help/doc/installers/installerModes.html

Or you can use the Cross Platform Package which is just a zap file.

All of the ZAP packages include include the GUI but it will not be used it you invoke ZAP with either the '-cmd' or '-daemon' options.

You can set lots of options via the Automation Framework yaml file or ypou can set options via the 'config' option as per https://www.zaproxy.org/faq/how-do-you-find-out-what-key-to-use-to-set-a-config-value-on-the-command-line/
