Hello everybody,

Can anyone say me that is it possible that me to run the scan through ZAP UI but generate the report for that scan through the command prompt?

P.S: Your suggestion will be appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi Pritish,

Can you explain what you are trying to acheive and how you would like it to work?

You can save the ZAP session and then run ZAP a second time specifying that session, but it seems like a very clumsy way to use ZAP :/

Have you looked at the Automation Framework?

Cheers,

Simon

Hi Simon,

what I am trying to achieve is that I have performed a scan of my website through ZAP UI, once the scan was completed I tried generating the report through the UI itself but it is not working as the ZAP is getting hanged!
So I thought can't we generate the report for the scan that I performed through ZAP UI, through the command prompt?

If yes, then how?

Thanks

If ZAP is hanging then that is a problem we need to fix.
Are there any errors in the zap.log file?

If not can you provide a thread dump?
"kill -3 <zap-pid>" will to that on Lnux / macOS
