HTML report file format issue

I like the format of the HTMl file reports particularly the overview, however for some reason when i generate the report it generated with html javascript and css seperately in another folder, this means if try to send the HTML file on its own it will completely lose the format.

Am i missing something, is there anyway i can generate the HTML reports into one single file similar to what burpsuite does so i can send it as a single file without having to manually edit in tons of files?

Yes, you can change the template to put everything in one HTML file :)

This will not require any coding skills, just HTML / JS / CSS knowledge and a bit of undertstanding of templating.

Feel free to contribute such a report back - we can explain how to do that.

The link above explains how to create new reports.

The reports add-on is defined in https://github.com/zaproxy/zap-extensions/tree/main/addOns/reports

If you want to raise a PR you will need to test that the add-on includes you new report correctly.

The ZAP Developers Guide is on https://www.zaproxy.org/docs/developer/

This should not require any code changes, but if you are new to this feel free to ask more questions here :)

Im very new to this and a bit lost, i already have the report generation add on and usually generate via the UI, so the information is a bit alien to me since it doesn't correlate with how i normally (or what i thought was normal) generate reports, could you give me a single html file report generation for dummies explanation please? :).
